Nicolas  married  Catherine-Marguerite NAULT 16 January 1766 in Cap-Santé, Province of Québec, Canada .  Catherine-Marguerite NAULT  was born 28 July 1747 in Deschambault, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Deschambault).  Catherine-Marguerite died 23 June 1821 in Cap-Santé, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Famille-du-Cap-Sante).  Catherine-Marguerite was the child of Claude NAU (NAULT) and Elisabeth-Ursule BENOIT dite ABEL.

Nicolas CARPENTIER died 22 May 1825 in Cap-Santé, Lower Canada .
