"The missionary Exupere Dethune poured the baptismal water on the forehead of the eldest Jean-Baptiste on the first of August 1672. Jean-Baptiste took Marie-Francoise Gentil as his wife on 18 April 1701, at Neuville, and became the father of 10 children. He was buried at Cap-Sante on 25 May 1738."
