Alexis BIGOT dit DORVAL  was born 8 April 1727 in Champlain, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation).  Alexis died 4 July 1787 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marie-Madeleine).  Alexis was the child of Michel BIGOT dit DORVAL and Marie-Anne TOUTANT.
