Marriage notes:

"After a few years of widowhood, Catherine Guillet yielded to the importuning of Sebastien Provencher, widower of Maguerite Manchon. In the forenoon of 27 April 1691, the venerable notary Jean Cusson himself, presided at the home of the widow... Sebastien and Catherine accepted a contract... The nuptial ceremony followed the signing of the contract by little more than two weeks. It took place on 14 May, at the same time as the wedding of Louis Provencher, son of Sebastien, to Simonne Masse, daughter of Catherine."
