David CAYA was the child of Joseph CAYA (CAILLA)   and   Elisabeth Isabelle BOUDROT (BOUDREAU) and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Joseph CAYA (CAILLA) and Marie-Anne TROTTIER dite BEAUBIEN (maternal)  Jean BOUDREAU (BOUDROT) and Marguerite COMEAU

David  married  Françoise BÉLAND 8 June 1812 in Baie-du-Fèbvre, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 16 children.
Françoise BÉLAND  was born 29 March 1794 in Louiseville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup).  Françoise was the child of Alexis BÉLAND and Catherine LEBEAU dite BEAUFILS.

David CAYA died 21 July 1847 in Saint-François-du-Lac, Canada East.
