Joseph-Marie  married  Josephte TURCOTTE 20 January 1749 in Saint-Joachim, Montmorency, Canada, New France .  Josephte TURCOTTE  was born 28 April 1727 in Sainte-Famille-de-l'île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.  Josephte died 25 March 1769 in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Québec, Canada.  Josephte was the child of Louis TURCOT (TURCOTTE) and Marie-Angélique PLANTE.

Joseph-Marie FORTIN died 19 April 1795 in Beauceville, Lower Canada .
