Gabriel FILTEAU (FEUILLETEAU)  was born 25 October 1678 in Sainte-Famille-de-l'île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.  He was the son of Pierre FILTEAU (FEUILLETEAU) and Gillette SAVARD.

She married  (2) Joseph JAHAN dit LAVIOLETTE 17 November 1721 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 2 children. Joseph JAHAN dit LAVIOLETTE  was born 28 June 1698 in Sainte-Famille-de-l'île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.  He died 9 May 1773 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean).  He was the son of Jacques JAHAN dit LAVIOLETTE and Anne TRÉPAGNY.
