François GIROUARD was born abt. 1710 in Acadia, Canada. François GIROUARD was the child of Germain GIROUARD   and   Jeanne BARIAU (BÉRIAULT) and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Germain GIROUARD and Marie Françoise BOURGEOIS (maternal)  Nicolas BARIAU (BARILLOT, BARRIEU, BARIAULT) and Martine HÉBERT

François was deported as part of the Acadian Exile / Grand Derangement around 1755.

Marriage(s) and Child(ren):

He married  Marie POIRIER 25 January 1735 in Beaubassin, Acadia (Fort Lawrence) .  The couple had (at least) 1 child. Marie POIRIER  was born abt. 1719 in Acadia, Canada (Acadie).  She was the daughter of Michel POIRIER and Jeanne BOURGEOIS.

He married  (2) Catherine BOUDROT (BOUDREAU) 3 November 1762 in Québec, Canada .  Catherine BOUDROT (BOUDREAU)  was born abt. 1705 in Acadia, Canada (Acadie).  She died 19 May 1799 in Québec, Québec, Canada (Quebec City).  She was the daughter of Charles BOUDROT (BOUDREAU) and Marie CORPORON.
