Josephte OCTEAU  was born 12 January 1811 in Lauzon, Lévis, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-la-Pointe-de-Lévy).  Josephte died 10 May 1891 in Saint-Isidore, Dorchester, Québec, Canada.  Josephte was the child of Francois OCTEAU and Marie-Josephe COUTURE dite BELLERIVE.
