Jean-Baptiste POITRAS  was born 18 September 1762 in Sainte-Foy, Québec, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-Foy).  Jean-Baptiste died 12 May 1827 in L'Islet, Québec, Canada (L'Islet-sur-Mer) (Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours).  Jean-Baptiste was the child of Joseph POITRAS and Marie-Josephte GARNEAU.

Marguerite BERNIER died 26 March 1838 in L'Islet, Lower Canada .
