Jean-Baptiste  married  (2) Josephte MARCOTTE 31 August 1767 in Deschambault, Province of Québec, Canada .  Josephte MARCOTTE  was born 6 December 1734 in Cap-Santé, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Famille-du-Cap-Sante).  Josephte died 28 January 1811 in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Québec, Canada.  Josephte was the child of Michel MARCOTTE and Marie-Louise RICHARD.

Jean-Baptiste PROULX died 15 August 1798 in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Lower Canada.
