Marie-Marguerite BOURGELAS dite DEGENE  was born 29 April 1770 in La Pocatière, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatiere).  Marie-Marguerite died 4 October 1835 in Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis) (Saint-Alexandre).  Marie-Marguerite was the child of Maurice BOURGELAS dit DEGENE and Marguerite TOUSSAINT.
