B.F. Skinner, or Burrhus Frederic Skinner, was an influential American psychologist, behaviorist, author, inventor, and social philosopher. Born on March 20, 1904, in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, Skinner became a leading figure in the field of psychology, particularly known for his work in behaviorism and the development of operant conditioning.
