On October nineteenth eighteen hundred thirty, upon the publication of three banns of marriage done canonically in the church of this parish & like publication having been done in the church of St Hyacinthe, and one only in the church of St Pie, between François Tetreau dit Ducharme [the words «fils de» and the name of the father are missing from the record] & of the late Marie Tarte, his father and mother, of the parish of St-Pie, as the first party, and Catherine Brouillet, minor daughter of Jean Baptiste Brouillet, farmer, consenting to this marriage, and of Louise Denis dite Laporte, her father and mother, of this parish, as the second party. Having discovered no opposition or impediment of any sort, I parish priest undersigned received the mutual consent to marry of the parties and gave them the nuptial blessing in the presence of Michel Tetreau dit Ducharme, father of the groom, of Jean Baptiste Brouillet, father of the bride, of Jean Baptiste Denis and of several other family members and friends who, along with the spouses, did not sign.
