Joseph-Stanislas  married  Pelagie-Modeste SIMARD 22 February 1762 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Canada .  Pelagie-Modeste SIMARD  was born abt. 1744 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Pelagie-Modeste died 15 September 1787 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Pelagie-Modeste was the child of Étienne SIMARD and Barbe DUFOUR.

Joseph-Stanislas ROUSSEL died 7 January 1795 in Saint-Laurent, Montréal, Lower Canada.
