François  married  Marie-Charlotte DUFAULT 17 January 1780 in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Charlotte DUFAULT  was born 16 February 1755 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Marie-Charlotte died 23 November 1809 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Marie-Charlotte was the child of Jean-François DUFAULT and Charlotte PILOTE.

François DUMAS died 3 August 1830 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada .
