She married Francois Frechette, a ship's carpenter and a militia captain, on 18 January 1680 at Sainte-Famille. He was the son of Etienne and of Marie Belin. Anne is the direct ancestress of Louis Frechette, our national poet. Francois and Anne had 9 children."
