RALEIGH - Beulah Mabe Jackson, 95, of 8520 South Briar Drive, Raleigh, died Monday, May 7, 2001. Graveside service, 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at Lee Memory Gardens with Rev. Scott Yow officiating. She was born in Surry County and was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Mabe and Nannie James Mabe; husband, Arthur Brady Jackson and her son, Charles Jackson. Survivors: sons, Arthur Brady Jackson, Jr. of Fayetteville, Norman Jackson of Beckley, WV and Richard Jackson of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Ruby Powell of Cary, Nellie Gillis of Sanford and Barbara Nichols of Raleigh; brother, Frank Mabe, Jr. of Winston Salem; sisters, Josie Lineberry of Stoneville, NC, Maude Glidewell of High Point and Lillie Miller of Haw River; 21 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.
