Marie-Amable GRIVEAULT dite BOISJOLY  was born 3 March 1732 in Saint-Sulpice, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Amable died 27 July 1773 in Berthierville, Québec, Canada (Berthier-en-Haut) (Ste-Genevieve-de-Berthier).  Marie-Amable was the child of Jean-Baptiste GRIVAULT (GRIVEAULT) dit BOISJOLY and Marie-Madeleine SIGOUIN (SEGUOIN).
