Louis-Francois  married  Marie-Anne FORGET 19 October 1767 in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, Laval, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Anne FORGET  was born 17 April 1749 in Terrebonne, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne).  Marie-Anne died 15 June 1774 in Lachenaie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Charles-de-Lachenaie).  Marie-Anne was the child of Jean-François FORGET dit DESPATIS and Marguerite-Louise NOËL dite LABONTÉ.

Louis-Francois PLOUFFE died 28 August 1800 in Montréal, Lower Canada .
