Jean-Baptiste  married  Josephte-Apolline COTNOIR dite PRÉVILLE 15 February 1768 in La Visitation-de-l'Île-Dupas, Province of Québec, Canada .  Josephte-Apolline COTNOIR dite PRÉVILLE  was born 16 May 1731 in La Visitation-de-l'Île-Dupas, Québec, Canada (Isle Dupas).  Josephte-Apolline died 28 February 1808 in Québec, Québec, Canada (Quebec City).  Josephte-Apolline was the child of Antoine COTNOIR (COTTENOIRE) and Marie-Josephe DESROSIERS DU TREMBLE.

Jean-Baptiste CARPENTIER died 21 June 1794 in Saint-Cuthbert, Lower Canada.
