Evangeline my Memere, was living with my mother Leola after my Pepere Henri had passed away in 1972. She had a pain in her chest and went by ambulance to St. Anthony's Gen. Hospital. She was doing well, but they said she had a minor Heart Attack, so they would keep her to monitor her progress. After four days in the hospital, they said she could go home after lunch. She was very happy about that.
She was eating her lunch, when her room-mate patient said, "she fell asleep while eating." The nurse came to get her ready to go, but found that she had passed away. She died peacefully in her sleep, a blessing for her! (re-count from what my mother told me about her passing away that day.Love from Grand-daughter Irene Davie
