Victor  married  Marie-Marguerite LACOSTE dite LANGUEDOC 25 September 1775 in Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Marguerite LACOSTE dite LANGUEDOC  was born 11 January 1737 in Chambly, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly).  Marie-Marguerite died 6 January 1827 in Saint-Luc, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Marguerite was the child of Jean-Baptiste LACOSTE and Madeleine PINEAU (PINEAULT).

Victor GIROUARD died 3 May 1828 in Saint-Luc, Lower Canada.
