Dale G. Rollison Sr., 53, of South Canaan, died Wednesday at home. His first wife, the former Jean Merrit, died in 1976.

Born in Carbondale, he was the son of Glenna Swingle Rollison, Waymart, and the late Gene Rollison. A graduate of Waymart High School, he was employed by Gentex Corp., Simpson. Previously, he worked as a custodian at Western Wayne Middle School and was engaged in farming for most of his life. He liked to hunt and fish and especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

Also surviving are a son, Dale G. Rollison Jr., South Canaan; three daughters, Regina Fenon, South Canaan; and Desiree Kane and Holly Warrick, both of Scranton; four sisters, Debbie Merrit, Prompton; Brenda Lanza, South Canaan; Bonnie Smith, Jermyn; and Kimberly Rollison, Maryland; eight grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Randy Rollison.
