Initially used in commercial settings, microwaves becomes affordable for home use by the 1960s and 1970s, revolutionizing cooking.

Margaret Hebert Obituary

Margaret Hebert, age 90, on June 11, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Beatrice Fonda. Loving wife of the late William Hebert, and cherished mother of Paul (Kelly) Hebert, Pamela (Scott) Crone, Patricia Brotz, and Philip (Deborah) Hebert. Sister of Gene Fonda, Sue Wallen, and David (Jan) Fonda. Grandmother of Nicholas, Paul, Andi, Kelly, Selena, Erika, Andrew, Kevin, and Kyle, and great-grandmother of Samantha, Anora, Liam, Hannah, Leah, Matthew, Julianna, and Devon. She will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

For years, Margaret was an RN with the VA Hospital in Buffalo. An exceptionally dedicated and active woman, Margaret always found meaningful ways to give back to her community and family. She devoted her time to teaching Sunday school at Saint Albert's Church and also served for years as a Girl Scout leader.
