WIKNIK, Daniel J.

Daniel J. Wiknik, 30, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday (June 1, 2010). He was the beloved husband of Amy (Lizotte) Wiknik. He was born in Middletown and raised in Higganum. He worked as a HVAC technician for Glasco Heating & Air Conditioning. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed taking his wife for rides on his Harley. He also had a special love for his cat, 'Babes.' Besides his wife, he leaves behind his mother, Susan (Jasse) Wilton and stepfather Jonathan of Middletown, his sisters, Brenda Wiknik Zambrello and her husband Anthony of Berlin, Caitlin Wilton of Middletown, Amy Wiknik of Higganum, his grandparents, Raymond and Eleanor Jasse, Frances C. Johnson, mother in law and father in law, Michael and Robin Welch, and his sister in law, Heather Lizotte. He also leaves many cousins. He was predeceased by his father, James F. Wiknik.
