Joseph  married  Marie-Anne-Suzanne CASSE (LACASSE) 6 November 1748 in Beaumont, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 10 children.
Marie-Anne-Suzanne CASSE (LACASSE)  was born 13 June 1731 in Beaumont, Québec, Canada (Saint-Étienne-de-Beaumont).  Marie-Anne-Suzanne died 9 October 1810 in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Québec, Canada .  Marie-Anne-Suzanne was the child of Antoine CASSE (LACASSE) and Marie-Françoise BOURGET.

Joseph BISSON died 27 July 1801 in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Lower Canada .
