Joseph GAGNE was the child of François GAGNÉ   and   Elisabeth LANGLOIS and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Pierre GAGNÉ (GASNIER) dit BELLEAVANCE and Louise FAURE dite PLANCHET (maternal)  Jean LANGLOIS and Marie-Françoise-Charlotte BELANGER

Joseph  married  Marie-Louise BLAIS 25 July 1757 in Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 7 children.
Marie-Louise BLAIS  was born 28 March 1732 in Berthier-sur-Mer, Québec, Canada (Berthier-en-Bas) (Berthier).  Marie-Louise was the child of Pierre BLAIS and Elisabeth BILODEAU.

Joseph GAGNE died 12 April 1798 in Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Lower Canada.
