Duane N Hadsell 2008-06-22 Duane Niles Hadsell June 22, 2008 Duane Niles Hadsell, 80, formerly of Greenfield Township died Sunday evening at the Mt. View Care Center, Scranton. Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Myrell J.. & Gladys Merritt Hadsell. He attended Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale and was an army sergeant during the Korean War. He was an elevator inspector for the General Services Administration in Washington, D.C. He was the inspector at the White House from 1969 until 1978. Duane was the fourth person to pass the National Elevators Inspectors Examination and was the elevator foreman at the National Security Agency, Ft. Mead, MD. He was a member of the Board of National Elevator authority, Phoenix, AZ and was a Member of the National Elevator Code Executive Committee. He was a member of the Lenox Post # 8488 , VFW and the Great Bend American Legion Post # 315; and the D.A.V. Commanders Club. He is survived by two sons: Norman M. Hadsell, White
