He married  Marie-Anne LEMAITRE dite BELLENOIX 13 October 1760 in Louiseville, Maskinongé, Canada .  Marie-Anne LEMAITRE dite BELLENOIX  was born 14 January 1735 in Yamachiche, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-d'Yamachiche).  She died 27 July 1775 in Louiseville, Maskinongé, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup).  She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste LEMAITRE dit AUGER and Marie-Anne FAFARD.

Joseph BRÛLÉ died 30 April 1796 in Louiseville, Maskinongé, Lower Canada .
