Joseph DUFAYE (DUPHILY)  was born 5 April 1742 in Longue-Pointe, Montréal, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-d'Assise-de-la-Longue-Pointe).  Joseph died 24 September 1807 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Joseph was the child of Étienne DUFAYE and Charlotte AUBÉ dite ST-ONGE.
