Pierre  married  Marguerite BOUTHILLIER 19 May 1749 in Longueuil, Canada, New France .  Marguerite BOUTHILLIER  was born 3 February 1728 in Longueuil, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-Longueuil).  Marguerite died 13 April 1757 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Marguerite was the child of Antoine BOUTEILLER (BOUTHILLIER) (BOUTILLIER) and Marie-Louise GOYAU.

Pierre  married  (2) Françoise-Genevieve BRAY 3 April 1758 in Longueuil, Canada, New France .  Françoise-Genevieve BRAY  was born 3 March 1738 in Longueuil, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-Longueuil).  Françoise-Genevieve died 9 June 1759 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Françoise-Genevieve was the child of Guillaume BRAY and Geneviève LAMARRE.

Pierre  married  (3) Josephte FAVRE 7 January 1760 in Montréal, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Josephte FAVRE  was born 10 May 1737 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Josephte died 17 September 1802 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Josephte was the child of Jean FAVRE dit ST-JEAN and Marie-Anne BASTIEN.

Pierre DESAUTELS dit LAPOINTE died 8 March 1802 in Montréal, Lower Canada .

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
