Marguerite-Josephte  married  Louis BADAILLAC dit LAPLANTE (BADAYAC) 30 May 1773 in Yamaska, Province of Québec, Canada .  Louis BADAILLAC dit LAPLANTE (BADAYAC)  was born 15 March 1740 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Louis died 5 October 1821 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Louis was the child of Pierre-Ignace BADAILLAC dit LAPLANTE and Marie-Françoise DEMERS.

Marguerite-Josephte CARTIER died 22 October 1825 in Saint-Jude, Lower Canada.
