Nicolas  married  Angélique LEROUX 31 January 1736 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Canada, New France .  Angélique LEROUX  was born 4 July 1718 in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean).  Angélique died 8 June 1790 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Québec, Canada.  Angélique was the child of Jean-Baptiste LEROUX dit CARDINAL and Angelique PLANTE.

Nicolas LACROIX died 8 December 1800 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Lower Canada.
