Joseph  married  Cecile MELANCON 4 July 1800 in L'Isle-Verte, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Cecile MELANCON  was born abt. 1773 in Canada.  Cecile died 26 November 1815 in Cacouna, Québec, Canada (Saint-Georges-de-Cacouna).  Cecile was the child of Joseph MELANCON and Marie COTE.

Joseph  married  (2) Françoise CASTONGUAY 2 February 1818 in L'Isle-Verte, Lower Canada .  Françoise CASTONGUAY  was born 5 August 1794 in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Québec, Canada.  Françoise died 24 August 1876 in Rimouski, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur) (Saint-Germain) (Le Bic).  Françoise was the child of Charles CASTONGUAY and Marie-Louise GUYON (DION).

Joseph OUELLET died 7 August 1854 in Kamouraska, Canada East .
