François married (2) Marie-Claire MATTE 18 August 1794 in Maskinongé, Lower Canada . Marie-Claire MATTE was born 2 January 1744 in Cap-Santé, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Famille-du-Cap-Sante). Marie-Claire died 2 July 1827 in Maskinongé, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph). Marie-Claire was the child of Nicolas MATTE and Rose GODIN dite JACQUOT.
