Nicolas  married  Rose GODIN dite JACQUOT 24 November 1727 in Neuville, Portneuf, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 6 children.
Rose GODIN dite JACQUOT  was born 4 October 1707 in L'Ange-Gardien, Montmorency, Québec, Canada.  Rose died 18 May 1791 in Cap-Santé, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Famille-du-Cap-Sante).  Rose was the child of Alexis GODIN and Madeleine JACOB.

Nicolas MATTE died 2 June 1760 in Cap-Santé, Canada .
