Etienne  married  Marie Anne LEBLANC 23 November 1778 in Yamachiche, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie Anne LEBLANC  was born abt. 1758 Marie Anne died 17 May 1803 in Yamachiche, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-d'Yamachiche).  Marie Anne was the child of Jean-Baptiste LEBLANC and Marguerite HEBERT.

Etienne  married  (2) Marie-Amable HEBERT 12 November 1804 in Yamachiche, Lower Canada .  Marie-Amable HEBERT  was born 28 June 1777 in Yamachiche, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-d'Yamachiche).  Marie-Amable died 28 August 1858 in Saint-Barnabé-Sud, St-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Saint-Barnabé).  Marie-Amable was the child of Joseph HEBERT and Marie-Rose CORRIVEAU.

Etienne MELANSON died 17 November 1814 in Yamachiche, Lower Canada .
