Jacques Antoine Hebert was a cooper born 1621 and came to Acadia from Haye-Descartes in Touraine, France in July 1640 with his brother, Etienne,from a new recruitment conducted by Charles De Menou of Aulnay of Charinsay, under the guidance of Germain Doucet, Lord of La Verdure, Captain of the Arms of Petagoet. Jacques Antoine and Etienne were the sons of Jacques Hebert and Marie Juneau.
