By the early 1690s they had moved to the Minas Basin, where Jacques died after May 1731, age 80. He and Catherine had 13 children, including six sons who married into the Richard, Boudrot, and Landry families. Three of Jacques's daughters married Cormier brothers from Chignecto. '
