Joseph  married  Marguerite MIMAUX (MIMEAU) 7 September 1812 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 3 children.
Marguerite MIMAUX (MIMEAU)  was born 7 February 1795 in Saint-Henri, Québec, Canada (Saint-Henri-de-Lauzon).  Marguerite was the child of Pierre MIMAUX (MIMEAU) and Marie-Anne MARCEAU.

Joseph LEREAU (L'HERAULT) died 19 August 1834 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada .
