Cap-de-la-Madeleine records in Drouin Collection begin in 1673
PRDH indicates that a marriage contract was signed in 1671 at an undetermined place in Quebec, Canada between Nicolas Perrault and Madeleine Raclos
"It was in this same year, 1671, while at the height of his fame, that Nicolas Perrot decided to establish a home... The fact remains that on 11 November, he was in Champlain to sign his marriage contract in front of the notary Guillaume de La Rue. The nuptial ceremony must have taken place immediately thereafter, but, unfortunately, the civil record has been lost. The notarized document tells us that Nicolas was the son of Francois Perrot and Marie Sirot (or Sivot), from Darcey, diocese of Autun in Bourgogne. The future bride was Marie-Madeleine Raclos, daughter of Bon (Godebon or Ildebon) Raclot (or Raclos) and of Marie Viennot, of Paris."

"In 1671, Nicolas married Madeleine Raclos who was born in 1654 in Paris, France, the second child of Godebon Raclos and Marie Viennot. Madeleine had recently immigrated to New France from Paris with her two sisters as Filles du Roi or "King's Daughters" --a program sponsored by King Louis XIV to promote the settlement and population of the colony. The girls were accompanied by their father who provided each of his daughters with a dowry of 1,000 livres and then returned to France after seeing them well married."
