Charlotte  married  Jacques COCHON (CAUCHON) 22 February 1751 in Saint-Sulpice, Canada, New France .  Jacques COCHON (CAUCHON)  was born 27 May 1718 in Sainte-Famille-de-l'île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada.  Jacques was the child of Charles COCHON (CAUCHON) and Madeleine DUPONT.

Charlotte  married  (2) Louis BOUCHER 16 January 1764 in Verchères, Province of Québec, Canada .  Louis BOUCHER  was born 20 October 1733 in Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis) (Saint-Alexandre).  Louis died abt. 1812 in Québec, Québec, Canada (Quebec City).  Louis was the child of Joseph BOUCHER and Geneviève HAYOT (AYOTTE).

Charlotte  married  (3) Gilbert CHATEL 31 July 1787 in Lavaltrie, Province of Québec, Canada .  Gilbert CHATEL  was born 30 December 1733 in Gannat, St-Étienne, France.  Gilbert died 13 January 1797 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul). 

Charlotte LANIEL dite DESROSIERS SOULANGE died 21 July 1822 in Lachenaie, Lower Canada .

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
