Marie COLIN (COLLIN) dite LALIBERTE  was born 4 June 1725 in Saint-Sulpice, Québec, Canada.  Marie was the child of Pierre COLIN and Marthe BOUTEILLER (BOUTHILLIER) (BOUTILLIER).

Jacques  married  (2) Charlotte LANIEL dite DESROSIERS SOULANGE 22 February 1751 in Saint-Sulpice, Canada, New France .  Charlotte LANIEL dite DESROSIERS SOULANGE  was born 26 May 1733 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Charlotte died 21 July 1822 in Lachenaie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Charles-de-Lachenaie).  Charlotte was the child of Jean-Baptiste LANIEL dit DESROSIERS and Marie-Madeleine COUTURIER.
