Nicolas-Pierre  married  Marie-Madeleine GAUTHIER dite LANDREVILLE 30 January 1741 in Repentigny, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 5 children.
Marie-Madeleine GAUTHIER dite LANDREVILLE  was born 26 March 1721 in Repentigny, Québec, Canada (La Purification-de-Repentigny) (St-Paul-l'Hermite).  Marie-Madeleine died 19 April 1800 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Marie-Madeleine was the child of Pierre-Charles GAUTHIER dit LANDREVILLE and Marie-Anne PROVOST.

Nicolas-Pierre RIVET died 17 March 1811 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada .
