'Jean, godson of Jean Cloutier and Barbe Fortin, was presented for baptism on 23 January 1670. On 16 August 1689, at Riviere-Ouelle, he married Anne Soucy, daughter of Jean and of Jeanne Sauvenier. Forur of their 5 children married. Jean was buried at Riviere-Ouelle on 6 October 1699. Anne Soucy was remarried on 24 November 1704, to ancestor Jacques Bois and gave him 8 children.'
