Catherine BISSONNET (BISSONNETTE)  was born 15 November 1681 in Boucherville, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Famille-de-Boucherville).  Catherine died 17 January 1715 in Varennes, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne-de-Varennes).  Catherine was the child of Jacques BISSONNET (BISSONNETTE) and Marguerite COLLET (COLLETTE).

René  married  (2) Marie-Madeleine GUILLET 25 August 1718 in Batiscan, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Marie-Madeleine GUILLET  was born 9 November 1692 in Batiscan, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan) (Saint-François-Xavier).  Marie-Madeleine died 19 June 1773 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Marie-Madeleine was the child of Louis GUILLET and Marie TROTTIER.

René MESSIER died 22 May 1758 in Varennes, Canada, New France .
