Joseph  married  Marie-Jeanne GEORGETEAU dite JOLICOEUR 7 February 1752 in Louiseville, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 4 children.
Marie-Jeanne GEORGETEAU dite JOLICOEUR  was born 12 September 1729 in Louiseville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup).  Marie-Jeanne died 1 May 1797 in Yamaska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska).  Marie-Jeanne was the child of Claude GEORGETEAU dit JOLICOEUR and Marie-Françoise DESROSIERS.

Joseph PARENTEAU died 5 July 1801 in Yamaska, Lower Canada .
