Biography
'Jean-Baptiste, born on the 11th and baptized at Charlesbourg on 12 September 1678. First marriage at Charlesbourg on 17 September 1703 (contract Duprac, on the 2nd) to Catherine Roy (1681-1734), daughter of Etienne Leroy and of Marguerite Navarre (5 sons and 5 daughters); second marriage in the same place on 15 February 1736 to Therese Dery (1689-?), widow of Pierre Renaud, and daughter of Maurice Dery and Madeleine Philippeau. Therese had contracted her first marriage in 1706 and gave birth to nine children. Pierre Renaud died at Charlesbourg on 8 December 1721. There were not children from the marriage of Jean-Baptiste and Therese.'
