Michel MARETTE dit DESMARAIS  was born 28 August 1724 in Saint-Sulpice, Québec, Canada.  Michel died 24 November 1800 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Michel was the child of Louis-Michel DESMARAIS dit MARET and Françoise-Anne-Marie BENOIT.

Marie-Elisabeth BOUSQUET died 5 April 1803 in Longue-Pointe, Montréal, Lower Canada .
